Unexplainable hair fall in this Maharashtra district is due to wheat?

High selenium content in wheat from Punjab and Haryana has been linked to unexplained hair loss among residents of Buldhana, Maharashtra. Dr. Himmatrao Bawaskar discovered the wheat contains 600 times more selenium, causing selenosis. Affected individuals showed symptoms like hair thinning, headache, and nausea. Additionally, reduced zinc levels were observed in those affected.
