Scientists to use diamonds to cool down Earth?

Scientists from ETH Zurich propose using diamond dust in the stratosphere as a solution to the climate crisis. Their study suggests that injecting five million tonnes of diamond dust annually for 45 years could cool Earth by 1.6°C. Despite promising results, the exorbitant cost of synthetic diamonds presents a significant obstacle to this innovative approach.
