Liquor in Andhra Pradesh to sell at Rs 99 from Oct 12!

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a new liquor policy effective from October 12, 2024, privatizing 3,736 retail shops and introducing low-priced options to curb illicit alcohol. The policy aims to generate Rs 5,500 crore revenue and provide stable regulatory conditions. While moderate alcohol consumption may have certain health benefits, excessive use poses significant risks.
